LOVE IN THE TIME OF MIGRATION is a short multimedia documentary film that follows the love story of Ronny and Suly, a Guatemalan couple from a rural community deeply impacted by migration. 

They met like most couples do today – on the internet. But their love meets many borders as it's shaped by the confines of the dysfunctional U.S. immigration system. 

Recounting their love story to their daughter, the film weaves together past and present to portray a modern reality of migrant families, imagining a future where they can all finally be together and asking the question: Can love conquer all?
